A former student dormitory of Klaipėda State College has attracted investor interest — after renovation, 76 apartments will be offered for sale. The total investment will reach up to €4 million. Located on Jaunystės Street, the five-story building will feature mainly compact studio and one-bedroom apartments. Prices with partial finishing will start from €29,000.
“While assessing the real estate market in Klaipėda, we noticed a shortage of modern and affordable housing. Our chosen concept — repurposing an unused academic building into sustainable new homes — allows us to offer a strong price-to-quality ratio,” shares Lina Baronaitė, head of the renovation project Mėnulio sodai.
Apartments are available fully finished and furnished, with prices starting from €40,000. Buyers can choose from three different interior styles, while the building’s common areas extend the feeling of home beyond each apartment — featuring light-filled spaces with minimal decor and greenery.
For many homebuyers, the dream is to move in and start living right away. That’s why this project offers fully furnished apartments with original interior designs. One interior is inspired by coastal themes — calm, cozy, and in natural tones. The second breathes modernity, reflecting the latest loft trends. The third is made for the bold — those unafraid to bring color into their everyday life.
Fully furnished apartments can also serve as attractive investments — it is estimated that long-term rentals could yield a return of 9 to 11 percent.
The former college building is located in a wooded area near the Danė River. Interestingly, during the warmer months, Klaipėda’s Old Town can be reached by water bus. It is estimated that the Old Town is just 6 minutes away by car or 10 minutes by public transport.
